The capitalargument.
The missions accredited to Canada keep their offices in this city. A conversation about a touring ensemble, an exhibition on loan or freight through customs can start here, with the people who decide it.
September 2027 · exact dates to be confirmed · subject to permits

Two doors open. One stays shut.
Programme partner
Behind a specific act: an ensemble, an exhibition, a workshop leader, a journey paid. Credited in the programme.
Sponsor
In the general list of sponsors, on the same terms as any other.
Operator of a pavilion: closed
Pavilions are run by community organisations. Pavilion branding by a mission, a mission's own signage and officials in ceremonies are closed. The test: strike the mission's name out of the materials and the pavilion still stands.
What a mission brings.
An ensemble
A dance company, a choir, musicians, from home or already in Canada. The festival supplies the stage, sound, crew and slot; the mission covers the journey.
An exhibition
Photographs, textiles, instruments, ceramics, with texts in English and French.
Equipment and instruments
A loom, drums, cooking equipment from home. Freight and customs are the part a mission solves fastest.
A journey paid
Flights and accommodation for artists a community could never afford alone.
A workshop leader
A chef, a craftsperson, a language teacher running a session people can join.

Questions.
Can the embassy operate the pavilion of its own country?
No. Pavilions are named after communities of this city and run by their organisations. A mission can stand behind one as a programme partner.
Will flags fly?
Flagpoles carrying state flags stand outside this festival. National symbols live where they belong to the culture: in costume, in ornament, in how a tent is dressed. The rule applies to every mission equally.
Which communities will have pavilions?
Those whose organisations apply and sign. No pavilion is confirmed yet.
